Hi!

unfortunately Email adresses are not standardized. So the autocompletion shows different forms ot the same address.

IMHO the addresses in the autocompletion dropdown box should be

a) sorted according to the Mail address (which schould be the same for one person in most cases)

b) marked with the source (Mail folder, Kaddressbook)

nice feature now to see the source!
Comment 2 Ferdinand Gassauer 2006-01-17 20:12:51 UTC
if they is more than ONE address
a) the standard should be marked
b) it should be possible to save a comment to identify the purpose.

I am closing this bug since the orignal wish is implemented (mails standardized and grouped by source)

Comment 2a) is dup of Bug 91641: Address auto complete should highlight default email address

Comment 2b) should be a new wish for KAddressbook (assigning this bug to KAddressbook would be misleading)
