Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)

It would be cool to have a menu entry similar to "show hidden files", but for backup files.

A backup file could be defined by using the mime-type 'x-backup' for example. 

Or it could be any file finishing with '~', as it seems that all KDE applications use this extension by default.

Or maybe a global configuration option for that ?
