Version:           0.17 (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)
Installed from:    Debian testing/unstable Packages

on certain sites, undesired control characters end up showing in-between the words of a sentence. Have a look by joining eu.undernet.org on channel #irc-trivia port 6667. It only happens on the trivia questions. I assume it's because the questions are attempting to include some kind of colour codes that are not being translated correctly. Great software by the way!

Can't test this as "channel is now closed until further notice"
Chances are that this is just a charset problem though.

The bot in there is sending all kinds of strange color codes, including color numbers 99,99 and stuff. Not a bug.

I understand what you are saying, but I think that we'd get a lot more
windows users to switch across to Linux if make our packages work as well as
they do in Windows. Currently, the users can't see what's going on in Linux
and have to revert to mIRC or pretty much any other windows IRC prg. I agree
it's not a bug, but still it might be worth the effort? What do you think?
