Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages

Hi,

this bugs me now for about 2 weeks and it's not very nice. When kdevelop starts everything goes ok, up to the point when all startup-stuff is done, about 2 seconds after the progressbar on the bottom shows that all files from the last opened project (i.e. 100% reached) kdevelop vanishes. I have a backtrace and the stderr-Output and I'll attach it.

Also note that this does not always happen, yesterday it happend only once and afterwards I could start kdevelop. Then later, after a machine reboot it happend the same ways. However at the moment I can't get kdevelop to start.

The only safe way to make kdevelop _not_ crash on startup was to remove the last opened project from kdeveloprc/[General Options]. But this also doesn't work anymore, but it used to. I did not recompile kdevelop since and the version is from the weekend, but as I said before it happens since about 2 weeks. Currently I can't open the last project I worked on and kdevelop has only to open 1 text file, a cpp header and a source file.

Hmmm... Another try I just made worked and the only thing changed was that I first closed the file-selector tool window before opening the project. Yeah it seems like it's related to the file-selector tool window (I don't have the exact english meaning at hand, sorry). When kdevelop starts the content is another than when the project is finished loading. But its not 100% reproducable, the 3rd try now worked, i.e. kdevelop crashed when he should open the project on startup with file-selector tool window open, but when I removed the entry from the rc-file and loaded the project after kdevelop was fully started (and the file-selector still open) it didn't crash - weird...

Also I'd like to add that I use the simple-ideal mode.

After turning off subversion support the problem seems to be fixed, so this is probably related to 111159.

I had the same problem with KDevelop 3.3.0 from KDE 3.5.

Removing subversion support resolved the start up crash as well.
