When displaying inline text attachments (e.g. patch files), kmail
shows each line centered in the attachment frame.

Strange, that works fine here (Suse 9.3, KDE 3.4.2). When did you realize that problem. Was it after an update?

Uh, I noticed it today. I updated from the suse supplementary kde source, but actually I am using kdelibs/kdebase from SVN. So this is probably the cause.
On the other hand, compiling kdepim from SVN did not work last week. I'll try again later today.

Works fine in KDE 4.3.1
