Description Patrice Tremblay 2005-08-17 10:27:04 UTC
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: GCC 3.4.4 Slackware
OS: Linux

i think a little feedback when dragging an object over the trash applet would help usability.

Currently, when you drag an object over the trash applet icon, nothing happens. Try moving an object over the "Home" button, for example, and, at least, you will see a focus rectangle around it.

Maybe applying an icon effect (Coloring the trash icon green, meaning 'an operation can happen', or maybe red meaning 'your file will be destroyed, fool.' ?).

Something to think about for KDE 4.

Moving to the plasma applet in case someone wants it.
