I think it would be very useful if KDE allowed for resizeable Menu's (ala MS Office).

This feature allows for only popular (most used) menu items be listed by default, and shows the user a down arrow to expand the menu to see the full listing of options in that menu.

I think this would be very useful as KDE is known to have excessive menu items. This would allow for a win win for everyone imo, as those people who dislike busy menu's are happy, but also, those that enjoy many features don't lose any.

This would of course have to be something that can be turned off, as not everyone will probably like it. I do, however, feel that this should be on by default, and maybe we should pick some menu items by default to be listed also (so the user never sees a 'bloated' menu in any application).

This is simply an idea, and #kde appearred to agree that it might be useful, despite stating it should certainly be able to be turned off.

I made this a bug in Konqi as I didn't know where else to put it. This would be a kdelibs or kdebase bug however, although I don't recall seeing either of these as a bug "Product".

If I simply overlooked the correct product, could someone please change this?
