Compiler:          gcc (GCC) 3.3.6

I was opening a file in Kate the other day, and I saw a file that I wanted to put on the desktop.  I though it would be really nice if I could simply drag the file out of the file dialog and onto the desktop, or vice versa.  Of course, it didn't work.  Would this be possible?

Moving from "kio/kfile" component to "kfile" product, helps sorting out duplicates.
