Having a user-defined description of phone numbers/emails etc. would actually be a nice feature. We could even add that on top of the vCard format. All the CRM-like features like taking notes for a phone call and associate it with a contact or having a queue for phone calls are also nice features. We have to be careful to not confuse the user which doesn't need them, though. The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4. Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product. |
