> 1) > Open the "Plot Data" window. > Click "Plot": a graph is plotted -> OK > Close the dialog. > Click "Plot" (reopens the dialog): nothing is plotted! -> NOT OK > Repating this sequence it seems that randomly draws or not draws... Yes, this is not a bug, the dialog always opens the same, the last plot is not saved. > Note: when the graph is NOT drawn, if you change the graph type to > something else (using the "Y-axis" combo) and click "Plot", then reset it > to "Weight" (the default one) and click "Plot", then the graph is plotted. > This is not true if you change anything else (range or check boxes). I am not sure what you mean here... The plot is only updated when you click on the "Plot"-button. > 2) > When the graph is NOT drawn, if you change the range (eg.: from 20 to 100) > the ticks on X-Axis is wrong and the ticks on the Y-Axis is not shown. > Note: you have to click "Plot" to see the changes. Again, the widget is only updated when you click on the "Plot"-Button. I am not sure if this can be considered as a bug... > 3) > When the graph is NOT drawn, there are little blue points on the X-axis. > Note that they are 1 pixel wide (littler then the plot points used to draw > the graph when it is correctly drawn). In KDE 3.5 there are no such points. There has been quite some improvements to the plot-dialog in KDE 3.5. Unfurtunatelly, they cannot be backported to KDE 3.4.x. Furthermore, it is not clear if there will be a KDE 3.4.3. There is a much improve standalone-release of Kalzium available on www.kde-apps.org, called "Kalzium Hydrogen". The next standalone-version will be online in about three weeks. >>1) >>Open the "Plot Data" window. >>Click "Plot": a graph is plotted -> OK >>Close the dialog. >>Click "Plot" (reopens the dialog): nothing is plotted! -> NOT OK >>Repating this sequence it seems that randomly draws or not draws... >> >> > > >Yes, this is not a bug, the dialog always opens the same, the last plot is not >saved. > This is not what I mean. This was intended to help solve the bug: when the "Plot" button is not working (see above), changing the range and clicking "Plot", behaves incorrrectly. > > >>3) >>When the graph is NOT drawn, there are little blue points on the X-axis. >>Note that they are 1 pixel wide (littler then the plot points used to draw >>the graph when it is correctly drawn). >> >> > > >In KDE 3.5 there are no such points. If you need more informations or if the bug is not clear, please ask me anything needed! Sorry for my english, but it's not my native language :-) I think that I have fixed all these items in SVN. If not, then please reopen the bug. |
