Version:           3.4.2 (using KDE KDE 3.4.2)
Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs
Compiler:          gcc 3.4.3 

If I drag a URL onto the konqueror web browser icon on the panel, it first loads the file into /var/tmp/kdecache-artemio/*** and then displays it. This makes all links on that page useless as they have a prefix of /var/tmp/kdecache-artemio/ and not http://kde.org for example. Also, if the loaded page has a .pl or .php extension, konqueror displays it as a .pl or .php file in embedded source viewer.

Works here. Sounds like a configuration problem. Do you have the same problem with KDE 3.5?
