I'm not sure if this is the right place to report this, but anyway:
I'm trying to develop some applications in pykde and I need Chinese input, but it seems that pykde doesn't accept SCIM input.
SCIM works perfectly with any KDE/QT/GTK/whatever applications, except those written in pykde.
I'm assuming this is a problem with the kdebindings3-pyton package. Any idea?

For me, Kbabel does not accept SCIM input. Is it a pyqt/pykde app?

I can use SCIM to input characters in kajongg, which is a pykde app.

Feel free to reopen this report if the problem still happens in recent versions (KDE SC 4.8.4 or higher).
