I was reading a review of the IE7 beta and to my surprise I came across a new feature that seems a good idea. 

They've combined the stop and refresh buttons into a single button, which acts as a stop button while a page is loading, and which acts as a refresh button when the page is done loading.

Seems like an elegant way to reduce toolbar clutter a bit.
