Description Adrian von Bidder 2005-07-19 09:42:21 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

When gnupg can't find the key to verify the signature of an inline signed email, the 'gpgkeys: key XXX not found on keyserver' message is displayed in the body text (pale yellow part) instead of the gpg info area (strong yellow part.)

See screenshot.

The message is on the postfix-users list, so it should be archived somewhere if you want to try this yourself.
Message-ID: <42DBCB19.9010307@travellingkiwi.com>
Date: Mon, 18 Jul 2005 16:30:33 +0100

(I'll also attach it to this bug.)

Version information (Debian package versions - the official source versions can be easily deducted.)
kmail: 4:3.4.1-1 (from experimental)
gnupg: 1.4.1-1
libgpgme11: 1.0.2-1

Anything else?

thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

KMail2 was released in 2011, and the entire code base went through significant changes. We are currently in the process of porting to Qt5 and KF5. It is unlikely that these bugs are still valid in KMail2.

We welcome you to try out KMail 2 with the KDE 4.14 release and give your feedback.
