Description Dik Takken 2005-07-18 14:35:22 UTC
Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from:    Gentoo Packages
OS:                Linux

When the harddisk is running low on free space, KDE should offer to empty the trashcan.

Additionally, KDE could also offer to:

* Delete ~.thumbnails/*
* Delete temporary files
* Delete khtml web-cache

This is not a dupe of Bug 79553!

Clearing out space is an important task for any computer user. Providing additional space-clearing options when clearing the Trash is a logical place to put them so the user doesn't forget

Looks like the ideal place for this functionality is the freespacenotifier in plasma-workspace.
