Description Stefan Kombrink 2005-07-15 22:02:06 UTC
Version: 1.8.1 (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: Debian testing/unstable Packages
OS: Linux

Although there's an attachment detection (simple keyword match) to guess whether a mail should have any files attached, it often enough doesn't work for me.

It would be much better if there would be separate actions for "send/reply with attachment" hindering the user to send the mail without having anything attached.

Having two new buttons in the menu would overcrowd it too much, but maybe those actions could be implemented as an enhanced option in the "reply"/"new" buttons that enfold after holding the mouse key pressed a while.

I'd really enjoy such a feature in KMail, but if there' a better solution available I am not the one who cannot be convinced :=D

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
