This is a minor bug.

I have configured kmail to use an external editor (emacs).

Every time I edit the mail body by pressing any key, kmail adds an additional empty line to the end of the mail body. You can repeat this many times and you will end up having many empty lines below your signature.

Seems to be related to Heisenbug 52410.

Allthough bug #52410 is closed, the problem is still alive in kmail Version 1.9.6 (enterprise 20070904.708012).

Fixed in KDE4, kmail 1.10.3
