I can't reproduce. Could you provide some details? 1) what browser do you try to print from? 2) how do you generate/view the preview? 3) does it print that (too small) font as previewed? 4) could you provide a ps or a pdf as generated by kprinter when using "Print to File (PDF)" ? Thanks Created attachment 11665 [details]
Konqueror generated page.
1.) Browser is konqueror.
2.) Ctrl+P mark preview, and press print.
3.) I did not check this, and I can test this only on the end of next week.
Here is screenshot, how I see the page in konqueror.

This is preview page.
Here is what I see in preview. Look, part of background page that opened after
print page moving looks the same as preview...
> But the page in print preview contains text, but very small and in the top
left angle.
This kind of behavior used to happen in konqueror because of page sizing.
When
printing, konqueror tries to fit the site content on the page width (the
height can be
longer, a new page is then started) with a given resolution (AFAIK 75dpi).
If the
content is too wide, then konqueror rescale the content to fit on the page,
this is
probably what you see. This rescaling can be triggered by various reasons
and is
dependent on the site content: a typical cause is a large banner image, but
I guess
there can be others.
Anyway, this is out of the control of kdeprint, because only the application
is
responsible for the print content. And if this only happens for a single web
site,
I'd say the problem lies between the web site and konqueror.
Michael.
Preview looks fine with konqueror 3.4.2 and 3.5-beta1. Yes. I can not reproduce bug in konqueror-3.5.0. So I think it's time to close bug :) Oh. I was not logged in and could not close bug. Now I'm closing it... |
