Can we make a script or a better way to import logs from gaim to kopete, or better yet, allow importing and exporting of gaim-style logs and allow "log to gaim logs" option that will produce the same result as if I was using gaim.

This is what prevents me personally from using kopete seriously, I value my chat logs dearly.

The program you have to use to convert the logs is called "xsltproc" and comes with your libxsl package.

I don't understand why you can't use Kopete. You can only be joking.

can anyone please elaborate on how to do this?
