In my opinion it should just change it. The reason it doesn't is there's no easy way for knewstuff to signal back that is has downloaded a file. It is easy to asked for the installed file(s) now. This is something for plasma people to handle. @Plasma people: Let me know if you need help with implementing it. I just wanted to add a bugreport for the same feature. Is anyone working on it or might have time to implement the function? It would be one small button that makes a huge difference in usebility. Hi, kdelibs (version 4 and earlier) is no longer maintained since a few years. KDE Frameworks 5 or 6 might already have implemented this wish. If not, please re-open against the matching framework if feasible or against the application that shows the issue. We then can still dispatch it to the right Bugzilla product or component.
