Created attachment 11564 [details] Source of message forwarded in Attachment #11563 [details] (as saved by KMail) Thiago, why did you change the status from "bug" to "wishlist"? The "Forwarded Message" delimiter and the message headers are inserted for almost every other message one forwards. The fact that they are not inserted for some messages suggests that this functionality is simply broken. I've never seen "Forwarded Message" be added in KMail, so it's a new feature wish. I think you might be misunderstanding this bug report, Thiago. KMail normally inserts the line "------------Forwarded Message--------------" when forwarding a message inline. This is not a new feature; AFAIK KMail has *always* done this. Therefore if KMail does not insert the line on a particular forwarded message, then it is malfunctioning. I'm not sure I can make this any clearer, but if you still don't understand then let me know and I'll try. Regards, Tristan I understood what you meant. But I've never seen KMail add "Forwarded Message" to the emails, when forwarding. It might be a bug, really. Checking the code seems to confirm what you said. Confirming bug still exists in KDE 3.4.2 The problem might depend on a ceratin message structure. If I forward (inline) the last comment received via the kmail-devel list, I get the "--- Forwarded Message ---" text. Please check, if it works for you for some messages, but does not for others. This looks like the same problem as Bug 140549. I am experiencing this in Ubuntu 7.04. Confirming bug still exists in KDE 3.5.7 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 140549 *** |
