Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)

Hi!
batch activities like html export (and onther kipi plugins) create extremly high load and render the box almost inaccessible for a long time. (create 1000 images HTML-Export on a Pentium IV takes some 30 minutes)
IMHO these processes should run with a lower priority.

I think this is a good idea.

*** Bug 109316 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
Comment 3 Angelo Naselli 2007-12-23 11:29:49 UTC
Is this still valid? I mean most plugins now work in detached mode...
Comment 4 Ferdinand Gassauer 2007-12-28 11:53:48 UTC
Does detached mean lower priority ? IMHO not (or should not).

Not all plugins should run with low priority - think of nsplugin - regardless of detached or not.

that's why I wrote "batch activities" ....
Comment 5 caulier.gilles 2015-07-04 10:05:27 UTC
BatchProcessImage is not maintained since a while and is obsolete now. It will be removed with 5.0.0.

Use digiKam BQM instead...
