When double clicking an event from a read only remore resource, the event editor pops up. If you edit the event, the local cache will keep your changes until the resource is reloaded.

This could fool the user to think the resource is writable, the incident editor should not appear at all.

Dear reporter, the resources handling got redone for KF5 and KF6 based PIM applications.

If you still encounter the issues you had in the past, please report them to the current maintained and updated PIM applications you use
