Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

i configured khotkey to send this string:

<:Shift+1:Minus:Minus:Shift+1:Space:Minus:Minus:>:Left:Left:Left:Left

which should result in
<!--! -->

but kate mixes the keystrokes up to something like:
<!!--- ->
or
<!---! ->
or
<!!--- ->

hm... just checked other applications again. it first seemed only kate has this problem, but in kwrite it's just the same, and even konsole sometimes scrambles the input.
so maybe this is a khotkey or kde base problem.
i'll try to correct the bug assignment.
