Description Ilia K. 2005-06-11 01:19:06 UTC
Version: 1.8 (using KDE 3.4.0, ALT Linux)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 20050314 (ALT Linux, build 3.4.3-alt6)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-std26-up-alt6

Currently it's possible to specify startup folder in KMail settings. I'm interesting in some more advanced way to choose, which folder to open on KMail start.

Let's say I have 3 accounts on different IMAP servers: "work", "studying" and "home". I don't use local folders at all, so my default startup folder is set to "home/Inbox". But sometimes I want to start KMail with some other folder open. For example I have some mail notifier (say, korn), which allows running an arbitrary program on, mail arrival or mouse click. So, when I get new mail in me "work" account I want to open KMail on "work/Inbox". It would be VERY useful to me if I could do something like:
kmail --check --folder "work/Inbox"

Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented.
Thank you for your understanding.

Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2.
