Description Wolfgang Jeltsch 2005-06-08 18:21:34 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: Debian stable Packages
OS: Linux

If I run diff on two files where one of them or both has/have no newline at the end, diff generates lines like "\ No newline at end of file". If I feed kompare with such a diff output, kompare seems to ignore the first such line and everything that comes after it.

Neither diff than kompare shows me "no newline at end of file". both indicate that on one of the file there are empty newlines. The behaviour seems correct. Do you agree?
