Description Nándor Moletz 2005-06-08 11:56:01 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

This bug similar by apperance as #84053, but:

When I start the konquerror by desktop local network icon, and after choosing the windows network icon, the list not contains the windows-98 machines, attached to local network, only the linux samba server (this machine), and there all shares are reachable normally. Furthermore reachable all shares on windows machines, if I put it's names directly into the konquerror address window, and there I can navigate normally. But if I choose the navigation icon "UPward", and when the address window reaches the contain:
  smb://<machine>/
I get a message (possible not exectly this becouse of localization):
  Internal error occured
Please send detailed error messages ...
The libsmbclient sent error message without exact error specification ...

After the OK-ing of message the konquerror window remain empty, but the navigation icon will "BACK" is working.

I tryed to make network traffic documentation by tcpdump, but this was really empty.

KDE 3 is no longer maintained. Feel free to reopen the ticket if the problem is still applicable in the current stable KDE 4 version. Thank you for your report.
