This is basically Bug 105052 (which concerns todos) only for events.

Dragging a file URI on a Event in calender view should add the file as an attachment.

Why is this a duplicate of Bug 105052 ? From a user's point of view, todos are different from calendar entries.

Bug reports are for us developers. And for us events and to-dos are basically the same. It's all about adding the correct drop methods to the views. No need to have two reports reminding us of the same thing.
