Version:           0.10.2 (using KDE 3.4.1, Gentoo)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.4.4 (Gentoo 3.4.4, ssp-3.4.4-1.0, pie-8.7.8)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-gentoo-r9

You cannot add yourself to your own contact list.  This prevents an aol user from being able to modify their own user info.

Two possible fixes for this are the addition of a dialog to edit user info or the ability to add oneself to their own contact list.

Adding myself in the contactlist is not a good idea because it make few sens, and will introduce bug in kopete.

the first solution is the one.

icq would be a different bug. It may already be fixed for 0.12 but if
not, there's already a bug filed for being unable to edit your ICQ user
info.
