I think that would be nice too Note: Konqueror 3.5.6 still doesn't change the mouse point when hovering over a link that "opens in new window". ;) This was implemented some time ago. KDE 4.1 has this feature. |
Version: 3.4.0 (using KDE 3.4.0, Debian Package 4:3.4.0-0pre4 (3.1)) Compiler: gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-12) OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.8-2-686 When placing the mouse cursor over a hyperlink, the cursor shape changes to an "Over link" hand shape. When placing it over a "mailto:" email hyperlink, it shows the same hand, but with an 'envelope' icon next to it. It would be nice if a similar effect happened when placing the mouse over a link which has a new window as its target ("<a href=xyz target='_new'>"). This hint would give the user an opportunity to right-click the link and select "Open in This Window", if they didn't want a new window to be opened. I suggest something similar to "actions/window_new.png" or "actions/view_remove.png" but, obviously, smaller.
