If message preview is enabled and an email with attachments is previewed, than the message list size is reduced, so that only one entry is shown (on my screen resolution of 1024x768). Also the size cannot be changed, only the preview can be disabled. In my opinion, the message list size should be as the user likes it and should be the same for every message.

I hope the description is understandable, although my english is not the best.
