Their is a program named KTeaTime that allows to set very quickly alarms by system tray("Simply select the type of tea you have, and it will alert you when the tea is ready to drink."): this program uses its ow daemon and its own system tray icon(filling my precious space:( ).
It would be usefull that KOrganizer would provide quick alarm: when U right click on the system tray icon a menu should appear that would allow an alarm to be raised in "3" ,"5" or "Define Now" minutes. This alarm should not be recorded in the calendar(optional). In the desired time an alarm should be raised with visual and audio elements.
A user should be able to define a new type of quick alarm: for example "Boil egg 3.5 minutes" or "Black Tea 3 minutes" see KTeaTime

Or the alarm should be recorded and then deleted when is finished
