If I want to print a dvi-document including a png-picture I get the following message:

"Diese DVI Datei verweist auf externe Graphikdateien die nicht im PostScript Format vorliegen. Diese können nicht durch das Programm dvips verarbeitet werden, das KDVI intern verwendet um zu drucken oder nach PostScript zu exportieren. Die von Ihnen benötigte Funktionalität ist daher in dieser Version vonKDVI nicht verfügbar.
Um das Problem zu umgehen können Sie die Funktion Datei/Exportieren als verwenden um die Datei als PDF zu speichern. Danach können Sie diese Datei mit einem PDF-Betrachter öffnen.
Der Autor von KDVI entschuldigt sich für diese Unannehmlichkeit. Wenn sich genug Benutzer beschweren wird diese Funktionalität vielleicht später hinzugefügt."

Can you add this functionality, please?

kdvi is no longer maintained since KDE SC 4, and its functionality is replace by okular.  If the issue in this report still exists in or apply to okular in KDE SC 4.10.5 or higher, please reassign the report to okular product or create a new report against okular.
