There is no free/busy url when contact is exported as vcard (both 2.1 and 3.0), even if the contact has that specified. I have checked all fields in the dialog box when exporting.

This is very not good, considering that one of the primary purposes of distributing a vcard is to allow others to schedule a meeting with me.

http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2739.html section 2.3 showed that a correct free/busy url should look like this:
FBURL:http://testing.com/someone.ifb
http://www.eurekait.com/sfg.vcf has a vcard exported by evolution that has the correct free/busy url. It doesn't look too hard to implement, considering that the free/busy url is already in the data structures and UI. We just need to write it out.

It would be nice if we can also have the FBURL field in the ical files exported by KOrganizer too, as described in section 1.1 of the rfc2739. And it would be even nicer if the CALURL is also supported. (am I too greedy?) :-)

The development of the old KAddressBook will be discontinued for KDE 4.4.
Since the new application has the same name, but a completly new code base we close all bug reports against the old version and ask the submitters to resend there reports against the new product.
