Version:           0.10 (using KDE 3.4.0 Level "b" , SUSE 9.3)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 20050117 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.11.4-20a-default

Since two or three days I can not connect to MSN using Kopete - I always get a "wrong password" answer. I checked the password via the MS website and it worked.

I have the same problem. I'm not familiar with msn messenger's protocol, but it appears as if it's forcing a new version down to the clients. Here's an ethereal dump of the short TCP connection

I can confirm too.
Gaim has no problem connecting to msn.
