Lock your screen while you have KMail (in Kontact in this case) running and then open it. When you try to get header listing it'll ask you for kwallet password. When you enter it and expect it'd check your mail it won't. It simply says there are no new messages and doesn't even seem to try to fetch anything.

Restarting Kontact helps and it starts to work again until your next screen locking.
