Version:            (using KDE 3.4.0, Debian Package 4:3.4.0-0pre4 (3.1))
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-12)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-1-k7

When I open a find dialogue in konqueror, search a webpage and clicks on a link, the search dialogue stays on top, but it won't search the new page I opened when I re-click search. Even when I click the back button, I still have to close the search dialogue and open a new one to search again or search for a new string.

Tested in 3.5.8 today and this issue is still present.

Not reproducible in konqueror 4.0.3 because the dialog will close after the first search.

indeed. this is fixed by removing the find dialogue in favour of the new search bar.
