a window which claims this piffle contains list of supported types whereof is a Rar Archive.
is there any difference in aplication/x-rar-compressed and Rar Archive?

KDE currently recognizes only application/x-rar as MIME type for RAR archives. I'll consider adding application/x-rar-compressed as an alias for application/x-rar.
