I think it would be a nice idea to store all pages previews in the left of the kghostview application as metadata in .kde/share/apps/kghostview.

It would have not to recompute these picture each time we open a pdf or a ps file.

I think, it would be nice, too, to store last list of selected pages.

This wishes is true for kpdf too.

Please, confirm whether or not you consider this improvement request still applies for Okular. Okular is really fast loading previews, and it might even be doing what you suggest already (probably in a cache folder, not the share/apps one).

Not sure what you mean with the “last list of selected pages” though. Okular remembers the current page, if that is what you mean.
