Description Sebastien 2005-05-12 16:17:38 UTC
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.4.0)

Sometimes (quite often, in fact) when I log into my KDE session (with applications state restoration) KMail is launched because it was launched at last KDE louggout (that's normal) but show a message box saying "KMail is already running, blah blah blah Only one instance can be..." (don't remember the entire message).

And there is NO other running KMail instance.
Even if I wait everything is loaded, the message box is the only instance of KMail running.

Even if I click the button "Start KMail" (and not "Quit") Kmail exits and I have to run it agin from the KMenu.

Is this really with KDE 3.4.0 release or some version compiled from branch?
Comment 2 Giovanni Venturi 2005-05-16 10:35:56 UTC
It happened to me too. KDE_3_4_BRANCH. This happened when I closed KMail quickly and then POP3 and IMAP4 kioslave still alive and quickly I quit from KDE session shutting down the system. But it seems don't happen again. I can try again then I reply here.

For me, it is really the KDE 3.4.0 release.
Comment 4 David Baron 2006-10-16 22:32:32 UTC
After restarting, is there a second instance consuming mucho CPU cycles around?
