I'm using KOrganizer with some calendar files on a webdav drive. It loads them just fine, but when changing an entry or adding one, sometimes I get an error telling me that the file could not be saved. But looking into my server logs I see, that the PUT request was handled just fine and when I check the calendar file with mozilla sunbird, I see that is was saved. So when I click OK on the error, it is still saved, but it annoys me - and if the calendar really be get saved, I don't notice it.

My WebDAV space is password secured and with a https connection. I also noticed that KOrganizer always tries to connect to the server without password, and uses the saved password only after it has failed, except when another "transaction" has happened during the last minute (don't know exactly the timespan). Could that be the source of the problem? It tries to save the file, gets a 401 first, then tries it again with username and password, succeeds but still sends out an error because the first try didn't succeed?

Playing around with it, I noticed that the error occurs only the first times I save something, after a while and some "transactions" it doesn't complain anymore.

I seem to have a similar effect when I save my calendar to my work machine over sftp. I use a relatively slow ADSL line and a lrge (> 500Kb) calendar file. After say 2 seconds the error message pops up, but the sftp progress dialog shows that saving simply goes on and is finished after about 10 seconds (and is done correctly).
Apparently, korganizer 'thinks' that saving should take only a short amount of time. If it takes longer, something *must* have gone wrong. Or is korganizer not able to check the correctness of remote saves at all?

I get the same issue with KDE 3.5 from Debian and a ics https calendar.

I have the sampe problem with FC6 and KOrganizer 3.5.6 on KDE 3.5.6-0.3.fc6.
I get an error about saving on a webdav server, but the calendar is saved just fine. Very annoying. Anyone knows how to fix this?
