I seem to have a similar effect when I save my calendar to my work machine over sftp. I use a relatively slow ADSL line and a lrge (> 500Kb) calendar file. After say 2 seconds the error message pops up, but the sftp progress dialog shows that saving simply goes on and is finished after about 10 seconds (and is done correctly). Apparently, korganizer 'thinks' that saving should take only a short amount of time. If it takes longer, something *must* have gone wrong. Or is korganizer not able to check the correctness of remote saves at all? Cheers, Arnold I get the same issue with KDE 3.5 from Debian and a ics https calendar. I've this message in my .xsession-errors : QMetaObject::findSignal:smoothblend::smoothblendClient: Conflict with KDecoration::keepBelowChanged(bool) korganizer: WARNING: ResourceRemote::save(): upload still in progress. QMetaObject::findSignal:smoothblend::smoothblendClient: Conflict with KDecoration::keepAboveChanged(bool) QMetaObject::findSignal:smoothblend::smoothblendClient: Conflict with KDecoration::keepBelowChanged(bool) IMO : The 3th line is the most important. Reassigning all KOrganizer bug reports and wishes to the newly created korganizer-devel mailing list. I am still having the problem with KDE 3.5.5. Any news? I have the sampe problem with FC6 and KOrganizer 3.5.6 on KDE 3.5.6-0.3.fc6. I get an error about saving on a webdav server, but the calendar is saved just fine. Very annoying. Anyone knows how to fix this? Maurizio *** This bug has been confirmed by popular vote. *** Dear reporter, the resources handling got redone for KF5 and KF6 based PIM applications. If you still encounter the issues you had in the past, please report them to the current maintained and updated PIM applications you use Thanks a lot! |
