Description 2005-05-02 23:26:33 UTC
Version: 1.8 (using KDE 3.4.0, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 (Mandrakelinux 10.2 3.4.3-7mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.11-8mdk

When doing a search using the Quick search field, if i type something that is after the @, doesnt returns any searches.

Lets see this example:
It exists an email with this in the From field: Joe John <guess@codeweavers.com>, and if i do a search for some word that is inside the < >, like for example searching for the word "codeweavers", kmail doesnt returns any result, but if i search for a word that is outside of the < >, like for example searchinf for Joe, then kmail returns this email as result.

I remember that i already reported this problem some time ago, but so far it continues existing...

In first place i said if searching for some after the @, well isnt that what i wanted to say.

I mean if searching for some string that is inside < > of the email address for example Joe John <guess@codeweavers.com>
