I have an Outlook Express mailbox that poses a problem when importing. Not only some messages are left unimported --- they are being silently discarded!

It looks as if the importer was dying on an ill-formed (or maybe just unexpected, as the format is reverse-engineered, I suppose) message and dropping all the messages that follow. The outcome is that I only have in KMail messages up to a certain point in time.

Unfortunately I cannot pinpoint the exact cause, and I'm unable to prepare a public testcase. As the mailbox in question may contain some sensitive information, please request its URI from me in private.
