It's reproductable, open amarok (using sqlite and xine engine), 
add/remove/rename a directory under the collection directory and the 
whole application will block.

I must say it has happened to me aswell, though only once: amarok froze and 
blocked the keyboard in the meantime.

It was reported by some people, though it seems all devs can't reproduce.
