Installed from: Mandrake RPMs

i report here this Mandriva Linux bug :

"In KDE 3.2.3, Kompare occasionally displayed squares for some Japanese
characters but mostly worked fine. After upgrading to KDE 3.3.1, it doesn't
show Japanese anymore; all characters are garbaged in it, which makes the
application unusable."

if you want some details i will tell your questions on the Mandriva bugzilla

It's somewhat interesting that things worked in 3.2.x.. but this is almost certainly the same bug as #95054, so I'm marking it as a dupe. Please reopen if there's good reason to believe that it's a separate issue.
