This requested feature would be very handy for those of us with slow or unreliable internet connections.
Tooday I was downloading openoffice and lost my internet connection several times. The download manager eventually timed out. I then had to go back through the openoffice website to re-select my download. Nicely when the restarted download found the old partial file it allowed me to resume.
What I suggest is a feature and new button on the download window for konqueror "resume/restart"
Which would function as thus:
The download manager window would stay open if a timeout occours, allowing the user to then restablish his internet connection, and simply click the "resume/restart" and the download manager tries the same ftp/http file server to continue the timed out download.
A subfeature, of slight complexity that would be real neat is to imbed in the partial download its source location in such a manner that when the partial downolad is clicked upon in a konqueror window it restarts and continues the download from the same originating file server.
