I would like this feature very much. While viewing mail in a particular folder I would like to switch between different emails in that folder with arrow keys or a mouse click on an icon. Presently I have to close the particular mail I am viewing and then open the next mail.

This is particularly useful while viewing emails sorted on sorted on a subject or person. May be I would like to view some of the previous mail received from  a given person and I should be able to do it all in the same window.

Such functionality is available in MS Outlook.
