Reproduction:

klick on a mail in a folder with many mails
press DEL permanently
KMail crashes after last mail is deleted

I can't reproduce this in cvs (with a local folder). Could you try upgrading to kde 3.4 since it seems you're running a beta version currently.

Also, it would be helpful to know if you experience this crash when deleting in a local/imap etc folder.

Still there in 3.4 compiled from source.

We're going to need more detailed info on how to reproduce this since I don't get a crash with either 3.4 or cvs.

Unfortunately the backtrace is useless. I'm pretty sure this is a duplicate, 
though. Does anyone have time to check?
