Version:           0.7.0-cvs (using KDE 3.3.0, SuSE)

When creating a new image with a different program in an album directory while digikam is running, the thumbnail is only partial. The only way I see around this currently is to rename the collection (which recreates all thumbnails), ugly!

the thumbnail loader went through a rewrite since the "old" version you are using. try again with the latest released version and see if you can reproduce the problem
