make sure kipi-plugins is compiled with debugging suport enabled. start digikam from a terminal and look for messages on the terminal when you try to add a photo. i'm specifically looking for messages of the type: STATUS: Add Photo: some number here. copy and paste those messages here Here's the message I got on the terminal: digikam: STATUS: Add Photo: User cannot add to album. (I compiled using konstruct, so I'm not sure if you need me to enable any additional debugging support.) For what it's worth, I am able to upload photos with other remote tools, such as Gallery Remote and the plugin to iPhoto. Thus, I don't think it's an issue in Gallery. Also, the Gallery Export window in digikam does display the existing photos in my albums, so I know the password I entered was correct. Any other information I can provide for debugging? are you sure you are uploading to the same album in galleryremote/iphoto-plugin and digikam? from the error message that you reported, it sounds like as the user you are logging in from digikam doesn't have permissions to add photos. could you also try as admin (root gallery user) from digikam? no feedback from reporter. closing bug |
